'Agent Carter' e un alt serial din familia Marvel, dedicat persoanei iubite de catre Captain America. Cu un stil diferit celorlate filme si seriale din aceeasi lume, aminsteste de filme vechi cu spioni si oameni de stiinta excentrici. Bine facut, satisfacator, credibil in masura in care se bazeaza pe caractere perfect umane.

'The Faculty' e o comedie horror ironica, cu adolescenti si nu numai, marca Robert Rodriguez, ce aduce omagiu unui clasic - The Thing - totodata devenind un film cult la randul sau. Plin de fete cunoscute, numai Quentin Tarantino lipseste, filmul ar putea fi pur si simplu o placere vinovata, daca nu ar fi atat de bine facut, de la dialogul inteligent si foarte citabil, actiunea abil dirijata de un maestru pana la portretizarile atipice ale actorilor adulti.

'The Faculty' is an ironic teen horror comedy, of the Robert Rodriguez brand, which pays tribute to a classic - The Thing - at the same time becoming a cult film in its own right. Full of familiar faces, only Quentin Tarantino is missing, the film would simply be a guilty pleasure, if it weren't so well made, from the intelligent and very quotable dialogue, the suspensful action skillfully directed by a master to the atypical portrayals by the grown up actors.

'Stay Close' e o miniserie bazata pe un roman thriller popular, scris de Harlan Coben. Are un inceput intrigant, o sugestie puternica de ceva intens si adanc la radacina tuturor misterelor, dar desfasurarea evenimentelor dezvaluie doar concluzii dezamagitoare si multe elemente sunt folosite doar pentru efectul de senzatie, profitand de naivitatea si impresionabilitatea asumata a audientei.

It has an intriguing beginning, a strong suggestion of something intense and deep at the root of all the mysteries, but the unfolding of events reveals only disappointing conclusions and many elements are used only for sensational effect, taking advantage of the assumed naivety and impressionability of the audience.

Bine jucat, bine construit si bine dozat cu intriga necesara, filmul ofera o vizionare satisfacatoare, cu un final ce isi va pastra efectul mult timp dupa scena finala.

Well acted, well built and well dosed with the necessary intrigue, the film offers a satisfying viewing, with an ending that will keep its effect long after the final scene.

Sherlock Holmes e un detectiv in New York-ul prezent si este ajutat de Watson sa scape de dependenta de droguri.

'Elementary' este o reimaginare moderna a perechei de detectivi formata de Sherlock Holmes si Dr Watson, in care Sherlock este dependent de droguri iar Watson femeie. Tandemul celor doi si chimia actorilor functioneaza perfect in noua reteta si istetimea cazurilor si punerea investigatiilor in scena sunt elemente ce mentin calitatea intregului serial la nivel inalt si constant. In asa puternica masura, ca cei ce au degustat Elementary nu se vor mai putea uita la ceva gen Criminal Minds cu acceiasi ochi.

Elementary (2012–2019)

Sherlock Holmes is a detective in the present New York and is helped by Watson in controlling his drug addiction.

'Elementary' is a modern reimagining of the pair of detectives formed by Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, in which Sherlock is a drug addict and Watson a woman. The tandem of the two and the chemistry of the actors work perfectly in the new recipe and the cleverness of the cases and the staging of the investigations are all elements that maintain the quality of the entire series at a high and constant level. To such an extent that those who have tasted Elementary will no longer be able to look at something like Criminal Minds with the same eyes.

Cu o premisa ridicola, filmul continue chiar in mod interesant, evolutia ideii incepand sa para ca are sens si efectele de groaza devenind elementul principal atragator. O placere vinovata pentru fani!

Sadako vs Kayako (2016)

The spirits at the root of the curses from The Ring and The Grudge have a face off.

'Sadako vs Kayako' is a Japanese horror that follows the mythology of the famous franchises of the Ring and The Grudge with a film in which the vengeful spirits face each other. With a ridiculous premise such as this, the film actually continues in an interesting way, with the built up started from just the idea begining to seem meaningful and the horror effects becoming the main attractive element. A guilty pleasure for the fans!

Dupa ce iese din inchisoare, Dom Hemingway incearca sa colecteze datoria pentru ca nu a parat.

'Dom Hemingway' e o comedie serioasa cu gangsteri englezi. Violent cat are sens, dramatic cand Dom trebuie sa invete o lectie, si  comic cand Dom refuza lectia. Un pic mai tragic pe alocuri, filmul retine atentia de ajuns pentru a crea o experienta satisfacatoare.

Dom Hemingway (2013)

After being released from prison, Dom Hemingway tries to collect the debt he's owed because he did not talk to the police.

'Dom Hemingway' is a serious comedy with English gangsters. Violent as much makes sense, dramatic when Dom has to learn a lesson, and comical when Dom refuses the lesson. A little more tragic than expected in places, the film retains one's attention enough to create a satisfying experience.

'The Tomorrow War' is a sci-fi action movie with some logic flaws, but a success in terms of entertainment. It's not anything special, but its heart is in the right place and the audience is not disappointed.

'Loki' este un serial din universul Marvel ce imprumuta unul din cei mai iubiti inamici pentru a-l transforma intr-un quasi erou. Loki are aventuri nesfarsite, cu o utilizare a teoriei calatoriei in timp aidoma lui Doctor Who si pune la dispozitie personaje complet imperfecte si usor de indragit si desfasurari ale intrigii pline de originalitate.

'Loki' is a series from the Marvel universe that borrows one of the most beloved villains to turn him into a quasi-hero. The series has endless adventures, with a use of time travel theory very reminiscent to Doctor Who and provides completely imperfect and easy-to-love characters and unfolding of plots that are full of originality.

'House of 1000 Corpses' e un film horror dement sub bagheta celebrului Rob Zombie. Face uz de mult gore si scene foarte grafice, umorul e si el prezent in oarecare masura si sarac dar cumva nu ajuta audienta sa uite de aerul fatalist si completa lipsa de speranta si orice element pozitiv.

Two couples travel through the USA in search of urban legends and find themselves trying out Captain Spaulding's museum and fun rides.

'House of 1000 Corpses' is a demented horror movie under the direction of the famous Rob Zombie. It uses a lot of gore and very graphic scenes, the humor is also present to some extent but poor, and somehow it does not help the audience forget the fatalistic tone and feel and the complete lack of hope and any positive element.
