Elementary (2012–2019)

Sherlock Holmes is a detective in the present New York and is helped by Watson in controlling his drug addiction.

'Elementary' is a modern reimagining of the pair of detectives formed by Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, in which Sherlock is a drug addict and Watson a woman. The tandem of the two and the chemistry of the actors work perfectly in the new recipe and the cleverness of the cases and the staging of the investigations are all elements that maintain the quality of the entire series at a high and constant level. To such an extent that those who have tasted Elementary will no longer be able to look at something like Criminal Minds with the same eyes.

Watching The Detectives (2007)

Nu m-am mai entuziasmat de multisor la un film, dar comedioara asta a fost mult prea adorabila pentru a trece nementionata.

In roluri care nu prea se potrivesc cu CV-ul niciunuia dintre protagonisti, acestia dau dovada de o versatilitate nebanuita chiar si in domeniul pe nedrept considerat usuratic al comediei romantice. Cillian Murphy, in rolul unui cinefil inrait, mereu nemultumit de realitatea inconjuratoare si dezamagit de lipsa de suspans si scantei din aceasta (yours truly se recunoaste cu usurinta), si Lucy Liu - o zglobie fara nici o ramasita de O-ren Ishii, mereu pusa pe sotii si imprevizibila, fac o echipa un pic iesita din tipare care nu ar dezgheta inima chiar oricui, dar a atins-o pe a mea, prin usurinta si dragalasenia cu care par sa faca fata la niste probleme de relatii reale, de altfel de nementionat in banalitatea lor.
