Red Sparrow (2018)

A ballerina who sees her career destroyed, is forced by circumstances to learn the art of seduction and espionage.

'Red Sparrow' is an action thriller that seems a copycat given some current releases (Atomic Blonde, Anna, anything with Mila Jovovich). The film works well on its own, even with the mentioned comparisons (no one complains when Jason Bourne 13 or Mission Impossible 2000 is coming around the corner ...), and Jennifer Lawrence proves once again that she can alternate dramatic roles with more commercial ones.

The Lion King (1994)

Simba is tricked by his uncle into thinking that he accidentally killed his father, which causes him to run away and grow up separately from his lion family.

'The Lion King' is a beloved animation that has become a popular classic. The story is simple but effective, based on the natural cycle of life and basic family feelings. The unusual friendships displayed on screen and the well-known soundtrack make the film a favorite that does not fail even with the newer generations of children.

Watchmen (2019)

Intr-o realitate alternativa, politistii poarta masti pentru a evita crime de ura, iar justitiarii mascati sunt scosi in afara legii.

Un serial de scurta durata (doar 1 sezon) bazat pe romanul grafic original Watchmen, ce prezinta o alternativa la realitatea curenta, cu o creanga a istoriei determinata de evenimente intense cauzate de rasism si intoleranta, in care personajele cunoscute din Watchmen sunt gradual adaugate si conectate de povestea principala desfasurata pe ecran, ce o implica in primul rand pe Angela Abar, o politista fortata sa poarte masca pentru a-si continua munca pentru care a fost nascuta. Intriga este prezentata in primul episod dar conexiunile cu restul personajelor nu sunt evidente pana spre final, cand de fapt publicul afla si telul neasteptat al fortelor inamice. Inteligent, bine scris, concentrat pe portretizari de personaje interesante, Watchmen este usor de vizionat fara frustrare cu atentia satisfacuta cu usurinta de distractiile momentului curent.
