'The Diplomat' is a political series, dramatic, a bit soap-opera-ish, a bit of contrary styles, combined with the most positive effect possible. Full of lively and rich dialogue, lovers of sarcasm and incredible situations will have a field day. Keri Russell is excellent in the lead role and Rufus Sewell (the husband) and David Gyasi (the British foreign minister) are not far behind.
