'The Skeptic' is a light horror film with classic ideas. It has an interesting cast, a central story that has traction, but does not rise much above a mediocre level.

'The Adam Project' is a popular action-comedy film. It's better made than expected, a cute commercially popular movie that can be watched with the family.

Out of the Furnace (2013)

After the disappearance of his brother, Russell Baze decides to take things in his own hands.

'Out Of The Furnace' is a drama with some thriller bits mixed in. It contains some strong performances from the main actors and then some, but it will be tricky for the audience to keep emotionally involved in a story that would not have happened without the unfortunate and completely avoidable decisions of some of the characters. But the acting of the actors alone could be reason enough to see it to the end.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)

La scurt timp dupa evenimentele din primul ... volum, aventurile echipei fantastice ii duc pe meleaguri noi, le aduc dusmani noi si le regasesc parinti de mult pierduti.

Nu am fost un mare fan al primului la fel cum nu m-am grabit deloc sa il vizionez. Am mers pentru cel recent mai mult de dragul altora si pentru a evita intrebarile de gen "cum?! TU nu l-ai vazut?" cu care am fost bombardata data trecuta, ca si cum am ratat cea mai recenta capodopera a cinema-ului contemporan.

Oricum, asta mi-a placut. Primul a fost o dezamagire, probabil tocmai din cauza hype-ului creat in jurul lui, ceea ce probabil a insemnat ca de data asta mi-am coborat asteptarile nitel mai jos, si am putut sa il judec mai obiectiv si sa il simt si experimentez cu adevarat ca piesa de divertisment genuin care se si dorea.

Au pastrat aceeasi echipa carismatica, aceeasi formula de situatii trase de par combinate cu elemente comice care ii mai taie din neverosimilitate pana la un nivel tolerabil, au pastrat muzica buna "improspatata" cu piese noi si au adaugat un rol trofeu pentru un Kurt Russell neimbatranit - in spirit - (si atat de clar stramosul nerecunoscut al personajului principal jucat de Chris Pratt). E facut bine, potrivit pentru toata familia, cu efecte credibile, dulce uneori, cu mesaje clisee inca actuale. Pacat ca face atat de multi bani si eclipseaza artistii adevarati mai saraci, dar nu poti nega publicului ceea ce place publicului...
