Table 19 (2017)

Eloise still attends the wedding at which she was supposed to be the maid of honour, even though she was dumped by the bride's brother, but gets seated at the losers' table.

"Table 19" is a romantic comedy, although it's not obvious until near the end, acting like a regular comedy until then. The presence of several comedy veterans (Stephen Merchant, Lisa Kudrow, Craig Robinson) is felt and welcomed, and the film has an undeniable beneficial effect.

Stowaway (2021)

A mission to Mars with a crew of 3 faces difficult choices after an accidental passenger is discovered.

'Stowaway' is a sci-fi film with a dramatic plot and development. With an admirable cast, the film manages to maintain the suspense and emotional tension at high levels. Some label it a slow-burn, but their reasoning is unfounded, because not a single moment was wasted. The amount of thrills is perhaps higher than it should be, probably to maximize the emotional effect, but the film is definitely an exceptional experience.

Pitch Perfect (2012)

Beca, passionate about DJ-ing, joins the Bellas group and participates in competitions between universities.

'Pitch Perfect' is a musical comedy with teenagers. It's become a series in the meantime, and the film is very popular and offers light entertaining with very well done musical moments. In terms of a story though, there's nothing special about it, it's quite mundane and derivative.

Mr. Right (2015)

Recent dezamagita in dragoste, Martha cunoaste un tip intamplator ce pare sa fie raspunsul la cautarile sale, nebanuind ca acesta ascunde o viata ascunsa.

O comedie draguta, fermecatoare prin chimia dintre actorii principali, versatilitatea acestora si dialogul usor si distractiv. O analiza superficiala a problemelor de compatibilitate in cuplu, pare sa ofere o solutie evidenta.

Distractiv si potrivit pentru gusturi diverse, mai ales pentru cei fortati de parteneri sa urmareasca comedii romantice.

O mamă văduvă și casnică relatează online progresul investigației sale personale asupra dispariției prietenei sale celei mai bune.

Un film isteț ce pune în valoare două tipare feminine foarte diferite dar ambele puternice și cu propriile neajunsuri. Parțial satiro-comic, reușește să construiască interesul/intriga ca rostogolirea unui bulgăre de zăpadă, forțând privitorul să se distreze copios și să aștepte cu nerăbdare deznodământul fiecărei mini situații noi. Ambele actrițe își susțin rolul cu talent dar Anna Kendrick este minunată într-un rol plin de contradicții ce nu va câștiga voturile de popularitate instantaneu. Un film perfect!
