Knock Knock (2015)

A family man is assaulted by two young women during the weekend when he stays at home to work, away from his family.

"Knock Knock" is a home invasion type thriller with a special flavor, without any substance, but special. It's apparently a remake of a movie called Death Game (1977). Eli Roth makes his own wife available for it and she is accompanied by dear Ana de Armas, otherwise the film is quite empty and pointless. Keanu is adorable but this is certainly far from a role for him.

Constantine (2005)

John Constantine is an atypical exorcist who helps a policewoman solve her twin sister's suicide case.

'Constantine' is a horror-fantasy action movie, based on a comic book series. It was not well received at its time, but the audience learned to appreciate its many strengths: the sarcastic attitude of the characters, the non-(fully-)linear narrative, the clever twist and the full of je-ne-sais-quois portrayals of Gabriel and Lucifer.

The Matrix Resurrections (2021)

Neo is somehow trapped in the artificial world of the Matrix again, but a group of followers make the necessary effort to help him escape again and regain the powers he once had.

'The Matrix Resurrections' is a sequel to a beloved film that reconciles the adventures of past iterations and satisfies the fanbase's need for a sequel and a slightly more romantic story but also a story that's more grounded in a world closer to the current reality. The effort is admirable and half successful, but it was not necessary. Fans will be happy though.

Also, fans might recognize all or almost all of the actors of Sense8.

Street Kings (2008)

Viata unui politist blazat ce adesea ia justitia in propriile maini este data peste cap dupa ce este implicat in moartea unui coleg in circumstante dubioase.

Un film politist ce nu a primit prea multe vorbe de lauda. Cu anti-eroi mai credibili decat personajele din filmele de gen de duzina, Street Kings e mai bine facut decat reputatia sa sustine. Keanu Reeves reuseste sa impresioneze dand viata unui personaj mai putin scrupulos decat ne-a obisnuit. Gauri in intriga s-au mai vazut, dar filmul are un aer proaspat si original in ciuda neajunsurilor si ofera o portie sanatoasa de entertainment.
