Gwen has only her mother and younger sister to defend the family farm with from the greed of local industrialists.
'Gwen' was supposed to be a folk horror, similar to VVItch, or so I thought, but it is a historical, social horror that takes place in Wales during the Industrial Revolution. Well made, the girl in the titular role and the mother are amazing, but this does not help create a movie that can be watched again.
