'Tucker and Dale vs Evil' is a horror comedy that mocks the tendency of some slashers to use stereotypes for both attackers and victims. It has many good moments, but it is not the promised masterpiece.

Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (2016–2017)

Dirk Gently is a holistic detective who investigates mysterious cases, interacting with very interesting characters.

'Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency' is a sci-fi comedy series, a kind of Doctor Who that never bothers trying to invent a logical-sounding science, everything being about poeple characterizations, their interaction and the mysterious rules of chance and fate. Fantasy, nonsense, sci-fi elements, skepticism and even well-placed idiocy, all find their place and purpose in the non-boring events of the series.

Doom Patrol (2019– )

A scientist gathers a team of unusual and imperfect superheroes who live together because no one else wants them.

'Doom Patrol' is a series with superpowered people that intersects with Titans, both series taking place in the DC universe. And this is where all the similarities end, this series being perhaps the most unusual, original and crazy series with superheroes, be it DCU or MCU. From the street that is a being (called Danny), life being possible in the white of comics' sheets (!), the city kidnapped in the butt of a donkey, to the fact that the narrator of the first season was the bad guy, Doom Patrol is full of imagination, intelligent ridiculousness, imperfect characters who are richly endowed with personality and drama and and lacks even the slightest bit of boredom.

Too bad it will be missed by those with prejudices about superhero movies and series.

Firefly (2002–2003)

A team of randomly skilled renegades find various missions while travelling in a spaceship, 500 years in the future.

A SciFi series created, written and directed by Joss Whedon and the brand of his style can be felt at all times through the well-written dialogue, with beautifully constructed lines meant to express various humorous tones in almost any situation, an attitude that's slightly too serious but mixed in with playful which seems to be present in all the heroes that Joss created (like Mal for Firefly and Buffy before him) and many similar details.

The series was abruptly canceled due to contractual details and an entire generation of fans rebelled, as a result of which Firefly continued in a movie: Serenity, and both are still very high in the tops of the most beloved cult series and movies.

Santa Clarita Diet (2017-2019)

O sotie devine zombie si intreaga familie isi schimba viata pentru a isi controla si apara noul stil de viata.

Un serial de comedie neagra foarte eficient, bine scris si cu personaje ce plac automat. Chimia familiei intregi este de netagaduit, iar elementele horror nu servesc decat pentru a intari efectul comic. Timothy Olyphant si Skyler Gisondo sunt lipiciul ce sustin intreaga echipa si sursele umorului celui mai bine pus la punct.

Din pacate Netflix a decis ca nu va continua cu un al patrulea sezon, dar serialul va oferi destule jumatati de ora de delicii.
